Iran’s prisons has 3 times more prisoners than the prisons can accomodate

Iran came in fifth, in the list of global number of prisoners. A country with a 50 to 60 thousand prisoner capacity has approximately 3 times that volume and all the while, every day the number of prisoners increases and mostly they are individuals who were previously imprisoned and released but who are re-arrested with new sentences.(Iranpress news)
