Reports allude to Ahmadinejad “ratting out” Rafsanjani and his posse to Argentine federal court

The regime-run news agency 'Entehkhab' in a report that expressed deep concern about the issuance of the international warrant for Hashemi Rafsanjani wrote: "The reason for Mr. Hashemi-Rafsanjani’s arrest warrant are charges in connection with the bombing of the Israel-Argentina community center building in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina [in 1994]. Regarding this matter, an informed source said that during recent years, the case was slowly being closed and that none other than the exertions of powerful [new] internal opponents of the past leaders of the Islamic republic, is who would have managed to induce this result; on the eve of the election of the council of experts, the plan to smear the reputation of experienced veteran revolutionary authorities has entered a new phase. The informed source expressed his deep regret about this warrant and commenting on these actions by the internal forces said that unfortunately with this stunt, obviously these individuals are clearly unaware of the fact that they have cooperated with Zionist forces and have destroyed the Islamic Republic's reputation around the world."

are among the named defendants in the case. According to what the Argentine public prosecutor general has issued, Federal Judge Rodolfo Canicoba Corral, has requested both from the government of the Islamic republic as well as international police (INTERPOL) to arrest and deliver the defendants in the case, to Argentina.”
